In 1983, Irene Corey and Suzanne Lockridge formed Irene Corey Costume Design and began their imaginative journey into the world of foam character costumes, three dimensional company logos, and walk-around body puppets. They gained international recognition for their work, with a client roster ranging from national restaurant chains to feature film productions, and Suzanne continued to carry the torch after Irene's retirement.

Now, after more than 30 years of creativity, Suzanne has decided it is time to inch toward retirement. Though ICCD is closing its doors, you'll remain in good hands with Greg Manger at Costume Specialists. Throughout ICCD's tenure, Costume Specialists has been both our strongest competitor and our closest colleague. We have the utmost respect for their work and we trust them to give you the quality and service you've come to expect from ICCD.

Many of our characters are still in service after 8 to 10 years and their patterns are archived for duplication. When you need to replace an existing ICCD character costume, Suzanne is available for design consultation at The creative production staff at Costume Specialists will have the privilege of using the original pattern to duplicate your character design exclusively for you.

Thank you to all our clients for 30 wonderful years. We wish you—and all your walk-around critters—well. For us, we're off to bake some apple pie. Onward! — Suzanne
